Hello, my name is David Nemeroff, and I am the owner, founder, and chief instructor of Aikido Masters Self Defense Academy. Since 1999, we have provided the highest quality martial arts, character development, and moral integrity to residents of the Allentown, Bethlehem, and greater Lehigh Valley regions. Starting from the age of five up to adults of any age, we offer the finest training in Kempo Karate, Japanese Samurai Sword, Jujutsu, and Aikido.
At our self defense academy, you will never feel intimidated or physically vulnerable. We do not tolerate nor welcome individuals with negative intentions. Our “ego-free” team atmosphere is contagious and one-of-a-kind – just ask any of our students or parents of the children who train with us.

"This is a great place for adults and children. The instructors are patient and teach well. I like the techniques we learned here. And while they do conditioning and flexibility training,the moves don't require you to spin, flip, fly in the air or do a full split. They are practical and realistic and you leave each class feeling more confident. They also have a few other martial arts styles they incorporate into the Aikido. You get a well rounded education in the martial arts because of this and nothing is left out. You learn how to hit and evade hits thrown at you, defend grabs, and if you end up on the ground they teach that as well. There's nothing these guys don't cover. It's a nice welcoming environment for a beginner to step into. I like it here."

"As a person who lives an hour away from the dojo and commutes daily to NYC, I was not sure about my training in Lehigh Valley. I visited many NYC Aikido dojos, however, I was not impressed with the way Aikido was thought and applied. Then I visited Aikido Masters Self Defense Academy in Whitehall and I was impressed from the first minute I entered. Soke-Dai's 30 year experience in Aikido and numerous martial arts, dedication to self defense Aikido, purity of the martial arts, mastering KI development and healing energy of Chi-Gong and respect for each other was exactly what I was looking for. I have adjusted my work and life schedule to be able to train at Aikido Masters. I have been training under Soke-Dai for nearly 18 months and my life has changed significantly for better: I have gained incredible self-confidence, lost weight and my overall endurance has improved.
